FieldStack ("we," "us," or "our") operates Sam AI, an automated SMS lead response and appointment booking service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit a contact or quote request form on a website powered by Sam AI, we may collect:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Business name and trade type
- Service type and project details
- Address or service location
If you sign up as a Sam AI client (contractor), we additionally collect:
- Business contact information
- Google Calendar authorization (for appointment booking)
- Website contact form webhook details
- Payment information (processed by our payment provider — not stored by FieldStack)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Respond to your service inquiry via SMS, email, or phone
- Qualify your lead and book appointments on behalf of the contractor you contacted
- Set up and operate your Sam AI account (for contractor clients)
- Send service-related notifications and updates
- Improve the performance and accuracy of the Sam AI system
3. SMS Messaging & A2P Compliance
Sam AI communicates with leads via SMS using a registered A2P 10DLC number in compliance with TCPA and carrier requirements.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
By submitting a form on a Sam AI-powered website, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your service inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message from Sam. Text HELP for help. You will be immediately unsubscribed and will receive no further messages.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate Sam AI:
- Twilio — SMS delivery and phone number management
- OpenAI / Anthropic — AI message generation. These providers process message content to generate responses. They do not retain personal data beyond the scope of the individual request under their respective enterprise policies.
- Google Calendar — Appointment booking. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — Payment processing for contractor subscriptions. FieldStack does not store payment card data.
These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not sell your data to any third party.
5. Data Retention
Lead contact data is retained for the duration of the active service relationship plus 12 months, after which it is deleted unless required by law.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of SMS communications at any time (reply STOP)

7. Cookies and Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand traffic and improve the site. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers. You may disable cookies in your browser settings.
8. Children's Privacy
Sam AI is a business-to-business service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
